I don't know where to begin reviewing this book, it was such beautifully and poignantly written past Ms Jordan. Having followed her writing career from her kickoff book, I tin can see the vast difference and how much she has improved. The words flow, there was no hesitation, she wrote with such confidence. This is going to be one long review every bit I have so much to say!
I remember of all the books from this series, I have to say that Sacrifice Dear is her all-time so far. At that place is nothing that I don't love. I am so into Chad, the hero and I adore Dani, the heroine. Theirs is a second run a risk at love story, all the missed opportunities, misunderstandings, the regrets ... the If only'southward. Chad who thought he had all the time to confess his feelings to Dani after his vi months deployment was dismayed upon learning that this best friend had married the woman he loved. Dani, who had feelings for Chad was shattered when he went abroad and made a horrible fault which pb to the circumstances in the book. Chad had his second chance when his best friend, Dani's married man died in a bomb explosion. He was hesitant at beginning only with a piddling nudge from Faith (Bart's fiance in Seeing Love) he finally man up. In that location was of form hesitation from Dani's side and who could blame her. I'm and so glad the sensitive subject of terrorism, ISIS is handled with care ... it was written without any hidden agenda. I was hoping to see Luke's hacker and Ms. Jordan didn't disappoint! That was one of my fav. parts of this story and I really cannot wait for Luke'southward story! I believed the next story is about Blaise, not quite a happy bunny here which means I have to await longer for my hunky geek'southward book.
In the end, we get the sweetest epilogue. It wrapped upward Republic of chad and Dani's story perfectly.

I liked that the hero is loyal, there is no cheating, in fact he doesn't have a by with women like many of the other men in the books. Their romance progresses quite quickly but this works as they knew each other before and the circumstances they were
I enjoyed this story, in some means it is my favorite of the series. It is a second chance story, our hero and heroine meet upwardly at a funeral afterward non seeing each other for some time. I don't want to give also much away so i am non going to explicate.I liked that the hero is loyal, there is no adulterous, in fact he doesn't have a by with women like many of the other men in the books. Their romance progresses quite quickly but this works every bit they knew each other before and the circumstances they were in during their time apart fabricated conceivable.

This is some other actually good installment of the Saints serial. As y'all know sometimes you enjoy characters in the group more than others. The last book wasn't information technology for me so I had high hopes of loving our man Chad and that I did. This is Chad and Dani's story.
I will say along with the first release, this is one that I enjoyed the most. Two stiff characters both making their careers in ATF and moving frontward in unlike directions

This is another really skilful installment of the Saints series. Every bit you know sometimes you relish characters in the grouping more than than others. The terminal book wasn't it for me so I had high hopes of loving our homo Chad and that I did. This is Chad and Dani'due south story.
I will say forth with the kickoff release, this is 1 that I enjoyed the most. 2 stiff characters both making their careers in ATF and moving forward in different directions. A tragic incident brings them dorsum together wondering what in the world Adam had to do with any of information technology.
We flashback to Chad prior to joining the Saints to lay the story near between he and Dani. In this flashback y'all are introduced to Adam, his all-time friend. Leaving for a 6 month deployment, Republic of chad returns home to observe Dani (the love of his life) married to his best friend. Knowing he has to get abroad from the situation he reaches out to Jack and finds a new path.
Dani is thrown into a whirlwind situation with her husband Adam and his secrets. Adam and she were not unhappy and things seemed normal so how could he be in the situation he is. Finding out the truth and making things right is what she intends to do.
This story is centered around ISIS and the terrorist that live on our soil. If you accept triggers from this state of affairs please do not click. I loved the way Maryann handled this sensitive subject area simply also brought light to the fact that "terrorist" don't have a specific look. Its time to be vigilant and exist brave.
In this story nosotros are given a few other stories. Luke for one has something to tell for sure. I am really interested in what is going to happen at that place with everything that was swirling around him. Blaise we have all the same to larn what the cards concord for him. The other men are hither along with their wives and the newest members of the Saints. I love seeing the family grow and I really love that we become a 5 months and a few years after story with the events that lead Dani and Chad to where they both are now.
These books can each be read as a standalone but if you want to know the total story behind the characters and how this group has grown you need to offset with Jack and Bethany.

Okay, I really wasn't interested in this 1 at beginning. I hated the idea that my gentle Chad was trying to work back into the life of a recent widow! However, I'll requite Jordan credit because her writing sucked me in and she explained the backstory well. I'k glad I gave this volume a chance.
While I adored Chad - he is so sweet and beautiful! - I didn't dearest Dani like I accept the other female characters. She wasn't horrible, but she wasn't quite the kickass characters that Betheny, Miriam, Faith, and Angel all proved to exist. She grew on me more by the end, but something well-nigh her character kind of annoyed me.

I recollect this book had the best intro grand is and mystery of the series so far. The terrorists and the possibility of a good guy going bad.... All in all a terrific story. The guts of the ATF agents both current and retired was inspired. I really enjoyed this book. The love story aspect was epic.

The story of Chad and Dani is and so pitiful (seriously have a Kleenex at hand), even so you can encounter the dear they have for ane another, the misread signs, the interference of someone else that has stolen years away from this fated couple just if it hadn't of happened the way it did and then in that location wouldn't be a little surprise in Dani's life (I wont say what information technology is as I don't wish to ruin the book for you).
Who knew that Chad would react the manner that he did to Dani, This man is a keeper, his heart is so soft and I believe he would die for Dani if he had to.
Now throw in the treat of ISIS and Dani'due south deceased hubby Adam and you have a plot line that could go ane of ii ways (I'm so glad you went the fashion you did with this Maryann). ISIS is in the back of all of our minds in one way or another and the style Maryann brings them into the story is ingenious, y'all can feel the tension and fear in this book and even though I seriously doubt any of us would ever be in this state of affairs y'all can actually get the experience of the terror of which you would actually experience.

The depth and development of characters that Maryann gives to all of her books makes her
one of The Summit Romance/Suspence writers in my opinion.

I love how Chad is willing to cede himself for the woman that he loves more than anything else. "I would walk through burn for you lot. Hashemite kingdom of jordan has admittedly outdone herself with Chad's story! I was blown away by this story and the many layers information technology has to offer.
Total of suspense , action and emotionally charged to kick.
Hashemite kingdom of jordan never lets us downwardly with her hero's and she didn't let united states down this time either.
Republic of chad has to exist hands down my new favorite.
He is strong , loyal , smart, dauntless and so much more!
Dani is no wilting flower either. Cute, intelligent, dauntless and over again so much

My books are filled with sweet romance and hot sex; mystery, suspense, existent life characters and situations. My heroes are alphas, have charge men who dear the potent, contained women they fall in love with.
I worked equally a counselor in a high school and have been involved in teaching for the past 30 years. I recently retired and now can spend more time devoted to my writing.
I have been married to a wonderfully patient man for 35 years and accept 2 adult, very supportive daughters.
